VASELINE EFFECT 

- With the vaseline effect, you rub vaseline on a filter round the edges to create a blurred effect round the image, so it gives the centre of the image a more focused and illusional look. I like these photos because it makes the image looks distortional and you have to look twice to actually make out what the image is.

SLOW SHUTTER SPEED

- One of my favorite types of photography is made by using slow shutter speed, I think they're extremely interesting and you can use it in so many different ways. One of the main things to remember when using a slow shutter speed is that everything that moves within the image will have a blurred effect. To create an image with slow shutter speed, you have to open the lens for a longer period of time and make the aperture smaller, or make the F number bigger.

TILTSHIFT PHOTOGRAPHY 

- this is an in-camera effect where you use a tiltshift lens to create a different effect on the picture, it makes the objects within the picture seem also toy-like and miniature. I really like this style of photography because its inspiring to me, and makes me want to create my own.

-make sure wires are safely placed, out of the way of work area and walking area.

-dont sit in front of the computer screen for longer than an hour at a time 

-sit properly on your chair

OUTDOOR

-make sure you're not in the way of other pedestrians walkways 

-be careful and aware when shooting pictures near roads or cycle paths 

-take care on slippery surfaces

-dont go up unsafe high areas where you're putting yourself and others around you at risk

-take notice of weather conditions

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

Street photography is a sort of documentary photography which captures the everyday life situations. We were asked to re-create our own street photography.

I like this photo because it captures the underground life of people rushing around,

 I like how the picture is not completely in focus. 

This photo was more of an accidental photo, where I didn't want to pay the busker for a photograph, (although I still gave him some money) I really like the outcome though, because its his everyday life & expresses how he makes money. I edited it on photoshop to give it a more grimy effect. 

This photo was taken in London of a fisherman on the riverside, 

I think the fishing rods lead you off into the picture. This photo uses rule of thirds;sky;middle;floor.
